What our fashion-show verification labels mean

Verification labels organize evidence and responsibility. They are not guarantees of outcomes or safety.

Fashion Show Directory Editorial · Published August 2026 · Updated August 20, 2026

Fashion events can be official, independent, community submitted, fee-based or organizer managed. Collapsing those differences into one calendar creates confusion. Our labels make the relationship more visible.

Unclaimed listing

Only basic public facts are displayed. No organizer has completed the paid claim and verification process, so official links, tickets, venue details, opportunities and the full description remain locked.

Verified organizer

An organizer paid the directory claim fee and provided evidence supporting authority to manage the listing. This verifies a relationship—not ticket validity, event quality, financial condition, safety or future conduct.

Official schedule

The event is supported by an official governing calendar or source. An official schedule label and a verified organizer label answer different questions; a calendar entry may be sourced officially but remain unclaimed on our platform.

Independent event

The event is not represented as officially affiliated with a named governing fashion week. Independent is a factual category, not a judgment about quality or importance.

Paid participation required

The listing discloses a required application, registration, casting, booth or participation fee. Visitors should still review the amount, deliverables and refund terms.

Keep verifying

Labels reflect information available at review and can become outdated. Confirm dates, locations, fees and transactions directly. Report inconsistencies so they can be investigated.
